(April 25, 2013) The Dallas Assembly of the Brotherhood of St. Andrew will host the Patriot PAWS Charity Golf Challenge on Tuesday, June 4 at Canyon Creek Country Club, 625 W. Lookout Drive, Richardson, TX 75080.

Originally organized in February of 2006, Rockwall-based Patriot PAWS is a member of Assistance Dogs International and employs certified dog trainers to train carefully selected candidates to assist disabled Veterans in a myriad of everyday tasks made difficult or impossible by their injury.

The four person Florida Scramble event begins at 1 p.m. with a shotgun start. Dinner, prizes and presentation of awards follow at 6.

Team and Hole prizes include 1st and 2nd place – low net/low gross in all divisions; men’s and women’s straightest drive; longest putt; and closest to the hole. Hole-in-one prizes on four holes.

Golfers are encouraged to build their own teams, or individuals can be assigned to a team.

The cost is $125 per player, which includes cart, driving and putting ranges, lunch and dinner.
