Lake Pointe celebrates opening of Emergency Department in Forney

(FORNEY-May 6, 2013) On April 30, Lake Pointe Health Network’s CEO, Brett Lee (left) and Darren Rozell, Mayor of Forney (right) participated in a ribbon-cutting ceremony officially marking the grand opening of the new Emergency Department in Forney along side members of the Forney Chamber of Commerce, Forney community and LPHN.

The $4 million ED consists of six treatment rooms as well as a helipad for the quick transfer of patients requiring a higher level of care.

The new facility along with the $10 million ED and Diagnostic Imaging Center in Wylie is predicted to create nearly 100 new jobs between the two communities.
