Rockwall graduate selected into academic honor society at Texas A&M

(ROCKWALL-May 17, 2013) Kimberly Grinnan, graduate of Rockwall High School in 2009, was recently inducted into Phi Beta Kappa at Texas A&M University.

Founded in 1776 at the College of William and Mary, Phi Beta Kappa is the nation’s oldest and most widely recognized academic honor society. Only 280  universities in the United States are eligible to nominate Phi Beta Kappa recipients, and candidates must be uniquely qualified to be considered.  Out of the 700+ eligible students at A & M, only 72 were chosen to receive this award.

Kimberly graduated Magma Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in English and a minor in Geology and a minor in Earth Sciences.  She plans to attend law school at Texas Tech University in the fall, with an interest in environmental/water law. She attended Rockwall ISD grades K-12.
