Rockwall welcomes new Director of Public Works, City Engineer

(ROCKWALL-May 23, 2013) Tim Tumulty is the City of Rockwall’s new Director of Public Works and City Engineer.

In that position, Tim’s will oversee the Utilities, Streets and Engineering departments.

A graduate of Texas A&M, he comes to Rockwall from the City of Mesquite where he was the Director of Public Works for 14 years. Prior to that, he was with the City of Carrollton as the Director of Public Works and Engineering.

Tim and his wife Kim are the parents of three grown children that all work in public service.

The couple recently moved to Rockwall from Mesquite, but Kim has worked in the city for six years.

“We feel like we belong here!” Tim said, noting that he looks forward to working with city employees, developers and landowners, “as we continue to achieve ‘The New Horizon.’”
