(Rockwall) June 7, 2013 – Students of Michele McDonald of the Hubbard Chamber Music Series actively performed in a number of events this past season. All performed in the Rockwall Music Teachers Fall Festival and Spring Competition with most students receiving high marks or placing in the competition. Several students were also active and successful in the Dallas Piano Solo Competition and the A&M Commerce Festival and Sonatina Competition.
A number of the young musicians were also involved in chamber music study throughout the year. Students performed in various festivals and competitions and participated in a Chamber Music Master Class conducted by cellist, Marie Thais Levesque Oliver of Rockwall. The master class was hosted by Mano and Angela Judd.

Those participating and receiving high marks were cellist Maddie Angel, pianists Cyrus, , Justus and Perseus Aryani, Gillian Boley on violin and piano, pianists Victoria Darrington, Ben Fields, Ashlie Frederiksen and Lina Kim, flautist and pianist Julia Kim, and cellist and pianist Kevin Kim. Also participating were violist Danielle Monaco, cellists and pianists Grace Nelms and Amber Shanks, pianist Sophia Sanchez and violinists and pianists Emily, Nikki and Mia Vu.
