(Rockwall) June 18, 2013 – The Rockwall City Council invites residents to get involved, learn more about their city, and give back to the community through service on a City of Rockwall board or commission. A description of the various city boards and commissions and an application to serve are available year round on the city’s website at rockwall.com/Boards/index.asp.
Members of the City Council review applications and make appointments to city boards and commissions on an as needed basis. The Council will be considering several possible appointments and re-appointments this August. If you would like your application considered for these or other upcoming board appointments, please submit your application on or before Friday, July 26.
Applicants must be residents of the City of Rockwall, be 18 years of age or older, and be a qualified voter. Applications are kept on file for a period of two years. Please contact Kristy Ashberry, City Secretary, at (972) 772-6406 for further information.
