(Rockwall ISD) June 18, 2013 – Rockwall ISD is proud to announce that the Williams Middle School Honors Band, directed by Steve Sauerwein, has been selected to represent Texas Music Educators Association Region 3 in the Texas State Honors Band Competition.
Also selected to attend the Texas State Honors Band Competition is the Apollo Junior High band from Richardson ISD.
This competition concludes with one band being named the best band in the state. This is the first time for Williams to advance to the Area competition.
Congratulations to the Williams Middle School Honors Band for achieving such a high honor!
