(Rockwall) July 17, 2013 – Leadership Rockwall, presented by the Rockwall Area Chamber of Commerce, is a program designed to identify and motivate emerging leaders, and to develop their potential for community leadership by introducing them to the realities, opportunities and challenges of our civic and business communities.
The class starts with a weekend teambuilding trip full of fun, challenges and excitement. From September to May the class meets once a month to explore essential building blocks of Rockwall County, including education, business, government and nonprofit organizations.
Leadership Rockwall gives class members the opportunity to establish valuable relationships and identify meaningful ways they can get personally involved in the community. Class members will have an opportunity to make an immediate impact on Rockwall through a community service project they choose and complete during the class year.
Leadership Rockwall is now accepting applications for its 2014 class.
