(Rockwall) July 28, 2013 – The Boys and Girls Club of Rockwall County will host a unique fundraiser that is sure to be a hit. The first annual Iron Chef Challenge will be held at 6 p.m.  Saturday, August 10th at Southfork Ranch in Dallas. The evening will include exciting and entertaining cook-off challenges, opportunities to earn awards, prizes and goodies.

Challengers will include corporate, civic and community leaders like Jauna French, owner of the local Heath Salon and Spa.

“My team and I are excited to enter the ‘kitchen stadium’ for a great evening to benefit Rockwall youth,” said Jauna French, owner of Heath Salon and Spa. “The Boys and Girls Club has been helping children for years and it is important that they continue to receive support for their mission of helping children.”

All competitors will be cooking with hopes of winning the title of Iron Chef Champions.  Each team will be provided with an experienced chef and celebrity judges will decide who wins the ultimate award: The “Golden Ladle.” To sign your own team up and join in the fun at this unique event that will impact the lives of kids, visit the Boys and Girls Club of Rockwall County’s website: bgcrockwall.com/#!__events and click on Iron Chef Challenge.
