(Rockwall, The Harbor) August 11, 2013 – If  Dodie the Mudbug and Flo T Duck were to race each other in the 2013 Rockwall Rubber Duck Regatta, who do you think would cross the finish line first?

We may never know, because these two local mascots are teaming up to make sure that the big winners of the event are the Rockwall County Boys & Girls Club and Meals on Wheels Senior Services of Rockwall County

Giveback Night will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday, August 12 at Dodie’s Cajun Diner at The Harbor. Bring friends and family to dine at Dodie’s, and a percentage of your meal purchase will go to the Duck Regatta, to benefit these local nonprofits.

We understand that Dodie the Mudbug and Flo T Duck may make a special appearance during Giveback Night, shaking their crawfish tail and tail feathers, respectively.  Guests will be able to adopt ducks for the Regatta, which takes place Saturday, Sept. 20 and Sunday, Sept. 21 at The Harbor.
