(Rockwall) August 12, 2013 – Registration just opened for the father/child Adventure Guides and Princesses program at the JER Chilton YMCA at Rockwall.
A special Induction Ceremony is set for Friday, Sept. 6.
Girls and boys in kindergarten through fourth grade will enjoy special bonding time with their Dads during the Adventure Guides/Princesses’ ever-popular fall and winter campouts, the annual Pumpkin Carving, Turkey Shoot, Rocket Day, Holiday Parade, Derby Day, and various ‘Circle’ activities.
Not sure what Adventure Guides is all about? Come to the CAMP-IN for current members and friends at the JER Chilton YMCA from 5:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 16 to noon Saturday, Aug. 17. Enjoy swimming, archery, BB’s, campfire, morning chapel service, gym activities & snacks.
New dads and children are welcome to the attend the CAMP-IN at no charge. The cost for returning members is $25 unless they bring another father/child pair with them – and then they, too, will be admitted FREE!
