(Rockwall / Heath) September 16, 2013Mathnasium Learning Center of Rockwall/Heath presents Multiplication Madness – a unique opportunity for Rockwall area students in second through sixth grade to get extra help with their multiplication facts and skills through FREE, fun and encouraging game nights.

Multiplication Madness Nights are one hour in length, and will be held each Friday for four consecutive weeks, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. on October 4, 11, 18 and 25 at Mathnasium, 919 E. Interstate 30 in Rockwall, 75087 (across the parking lot from Cotton Patch Cafe). There is no charge for participation, and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Class size is limited to 20 students. Children are not required to attend all sessions; however, due to limited space, if a student signs up and does not show up, he/she will be automatically withdrawn from future Multiplication Madness Nights. This is to allow room for children who can attend regularly.

HOW IT WORKS

Each one hour session will focus on two sets of multiplication facts (2 & 3, 4 & 5, 6 & 7, and 8 & 9). At the beginning of each session, students will receive a warm-up sheet which many will finish on the spot. Those who don’t complete the sheet may take the warm-ups home to finish.

The students will go to four game stations where they will play multiplication games with cards, Wrap Ups and a Flashmaster. The hour will end with Group Multiplication BINGO. All participants will receive a “Reward Card” that can be redeemed at the Reward Cabinet at the end of the session.

Please note that no food or drink will be served.
