(Rockwall) September 8, 2013 – The JER Chilton YMCA at Rockwall will host an Orientation & Sign-Up Night at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 19 for those interested in being part of the Adventure Guide and Princess program.
Girls and boys in kindergarten through fourth grade will enjoy special bonding time with their fathers during the Adventure Guides/Princesses’ ever-popular fall and winter campouts, the annual Pumpkin Carving, Turkey Shoot, Rocket Day, Holiday Parade, Derby Day, and various ‘Circle’ activities. Horseback riding, canoeing, hiking and archery are just some of the adventures dads and their kids will experience together.
Orientation & Sign Up Night will help acclimate those who are new to the program, and provide an opportunity to join a unique ‘Circle’ of local dads and their kids. A special Induction Ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 5.
The JER Chilton YMCA is located at 1210 N. Goliad in Rockwall.
