(ROCKWALL – October 2, 2013) The Rockwall Area Chamber of Commerce recently recognized Bob Lewis as its Ambassador of the Month.
Bob Lewis moved to Rockwall from the Pacific Northwest in the spring of 2004, attracted by warm weather, friendly business climate, and extended family already living in the area.
In the ensuing time, he and Sharon, his wife and business partner have come to embrace Rockwall as their home, growing their online marketing and web development business and developing many strong and lasting friendships in the community.
Current and past community involvement includes:
- Past president of Toastmasters of Rockwall
- Past president of The Shores Homeowners Association
- On the Board of Directors of Rockwall MusicFest
- Member of the marketing committee for Rockwall Summer Musicals
- Member of the Downtown Merchants Association, Old Town Shoppes
- Rockwall Chamber of Commerce Ambassador
- Member of Rowlett and Royse City Chambers of Commerce
- Member of the Rockwall Amateur Radio Club – call sign W7AN
- Mentor for the 4-H Club public speaking program in 2008
- Co-owner of Planet Rockwall, the community’s online magazine and directory
- Member of Rockwall PAWS
- Volunteer at Rockwall Animal Adoption Center
