Congratulations to Christian Brothers Automotive
October 1, 2013 – The Rockwall Area Chamber of Commerce celebrates the achievements of local businesses and community organizations by featuring one outstanding business or organization each month. The Partner Spotlight of the Month is awarded to companies who have recognized and can demonstrate the added value of being a Chamber member.
The Chamber has selected Christian Brothers Automotive as its September 2013 Partner Spotlight of the Month. Rob Grand-Lienard of SPM, Inc, a member of the Chamber Board of Directors, recognized Christian Brothers in a special video presentation, while last month’s award winner, Tim Nichols of Nichols Wealth Management, handed off the traveling trophy.
“We joined the Rockwall Area Chamber of Commerce when we opened the shop in the first part of 2012. From the start it was obvious this group was different than most,” said Amy Stehr, who owns the automotive repair shop along with her husband, Mark. “The entire Chamber staff is professional and welcoming. The Chamber has offered us many great opportunities, including participating as a sponsor of the Chick-fil-A LeaderCast event and the League of Their Own Partnership Campaign. We have enjoyed meeting some great people and wonderful speakers at the monthly Partnership Luncheons. We are honored to be recognized as a Partner Spotlight of the Month!”
Christian Brothers Automotive is located at 129 E. Ralph Hall Parkway (behind Home Depot). The shop is nearly 5,000 square-feet. With years of experience in the non-profit sector and as a business consultant, Amy assumes the on-site manager role, running day-to-day operations, while Mark uses his 30 years of experience in the automotive field to support technical issues as needed.
“Historically, the automotive repair industry has been plagued by negative perceptions, and women are traditionally more hesitant about the car service experience because of the dishonesty often associated with the industry,” said Amy. “Christian Brothers Automotive exists to challenge the norm by providing high-quality, first rate customer service at all times, making everyone feel comfortable and at home.”
Christian Brothers Automotive provides full service automotive diagnostic testing and evaluation, maintenance programs and repair work for all domestic and foreign vehicles including models such as Mercedes, BMW and Volvo. The facility is staffed with automotive service excellence (ASE) certified technicians and a German Car Specialist.
“We want to be the light in our community where customers can depend on us for their automotive needs,” said Amy. “Christian Brothers Automotive is about educating our guests about their vehicles and how to keep their investment running optimally for as long as possible. We don’t believe in hard sell tactics or forcing a customer to purchase additional services exceeding their vehicles’ diagnosis. We pride ourselves on our business practices and becoming a go-to source for all community members who may have questions or concerns about their automobile.”
