Rockwall swimmers perform well at meet vs Frisco

(ROCKWALL – October 30, 2013) The Rockwall boys finished second and the girls finished third in the 8-school meet held at the Rockwall ISD Aquatics Center on Oct. 26.

Participating schools included Rockwall High School, Rockwall-Heath High School, Frisco High School, Frisco Lone Star High School, Frisco Wakeland High School, Frisco Heritage High School, Frisco Liberty High School and Frisco Centennial High School.

Boys:
200 Medley Relay (Day, Rapp, Stencil, Eldridge) – 3rd place – 1:47.79
200 IM – Dean Manasco (9) – 5th place – 2:16.49
100 Fly – William Rapp (11)- 2nd place – 55.42
100 Fly – Noah Day (11) – 3rd place – 55.74
100 Free – Nicolas Stencel (12) – 5th place – 55.30
500 Free – Dean Manasco (9) – 5th place  5:15.55
200 Free Relay – Stencil, Day, Rapp, Eldridge – 1st Place – 1:35.92
100 Back – Noah Day (11) – 4th Place – 56.23
100 Breast – William Rapp (11) – 2nd place – 1:03.58

Girls:

200 Medley Relay (Eldridge, Sani, Conner, Mawell) – 5th place –  2:08.11
100 Fly – Raena Eldridge (11) – 1st Place – 1:00.37
200 Free Relay (Sani, Eldridge, Maxwell, Conner) – 4th place – 1:52.31

100 Back – Raena Eldridge (11) – 3rd place – 1:00.36

“This meet proves that team depth is very important in high school swimming. Our boys finished 2nd out of 8 teams and our girls team finished 3rd with only two combined event wins. But, depth won out with several Jacket swimmers in the points for most events,” said Coach Paul Wallace.
