ROCKWALL (December 19, 2013) As of Wednesday, December 18, Republic Waste Service has collected 235 tons of brush related to the recent winter storm. Republic will continue to work the rest of this week, the weekend, and into next week but they will not likely be done by Christmas. Crews will continue with the cleanup effort 6 days per week until all debris is completely removed and only take off on Christmas Day. Rockwall does not normally have garbage collection on Wednesday’s so regular schedules will not be affected by the holiday.
Please remember to place your debris at the curb and not in the street, on mailboxes, utility boxes, etc. Please do not block the truck’s access to the debris with your vehicle. The City and Republic appreciate your patience while we address this cleanup effort.
