Dallas Sacred Places topic at FUMC Rockwall Wesley Arts series

ROCKWALL (December 30, 2013) On Thursday, January 30, at 7 pm, First United Methodist Church of Rockwall, 1200 E. Yellow Jacket Lane, will host for its Wesley Arts speaker series Dr. Rose-Mary Rumbley, retired university speech professor and popular Dallas speaker, who will speak on  “Dallas Sacred Spaces.”  A brief question and answer session will follow her remarks.  The public is invited.  Admission is $5 payable at the door.  Complimentary babysitting will be provided with advance reservations (972 771 5500).

Dr.  Rumbley holds a Ph.D. in Communications  from the University of North Texas.  She served as professor of Speech and Theatre at Dallas Baptist University for 12 years and as Single Adult Minister at First Baptist Church, Dallas for 7 years.  She also appeared on the stage at the Dallas Summer Musicals and at Casa Manana in Ft. Worth.  Today she is on the speaking circuit and enjoys researching each and every topic.  Dr. Rumbley has two grown children and one grandchild.
