Intro to Musical Theatre starting at Rockwall School of Music

Complimentary session for grades 3-6 this Friday

ROCKWALL (January 4, 2013) Rockwall School of Music is hosting a new class students in grades 3 through 6, entitled Introduction to Musical Theatre.  A complimentary session of this Musical Theatre class will be from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Friday, January 10th at the Rockwall School Music, 749 Justin Road in Rockwall.

The purpose of this class is to introduce students to the joy of the Broadway Musical stage.

This is a onetime introduction class that is free of charge. After attending the class, students my register for an 8-week session, which will begin on Friday, January 17th. The class will be from 5 to 6 p.m. and will conclude with a performance demonstration on the last day of the class.

The emphasis of the class will be on the types of blocking, choreography, and group singing that made such musicals as Sussical, Oliver, and Annie so memorable.  Space is limited to 25 participants. There is a minimum of 10 singers required for the class to ‘make’ so sign up soon!
