ROCKWALL COUNTY (January 7, 2014) Thanks to the support of local businesses, Rockwall Meals on Wheels was able to serve two special holiday meals each to almost 200 area seniors.
A Christmas Eve meal was sponsored by Dr. Les Sandknop and prepared by Zanata. The New Year’s Eve meal was sponsored by The Patient Gardener and prepared by El Chico.
What a wonderful way to give back and help those in need at what can be a very lonely time of year for many of these seniors. The meals were delivered by teams of volunteers.
