Save the date for Rockwall’s third annual duck fest

ROCKWALL (January 29, 2014) The 2013 Rockwall Rubber Duck Regatta succeeded in raising $30,000 for the Boys & Girls Club and Meals on Wheels of Rockwall County. Organizers are already busy planning the 2014 charity event, which is set for Saturday, September 20. More than 5,000 rubber ducks will once again splash down the fountains of The Harbor in a race to the finish line – benefiting area children and seniors.

Hundreds of families, friends and businesses are expected to flock the daylong duck fest, which will include a Nerd Dash, vendor booths, crafts, food, live entertainment and a Corporate Duck Beauty Pageant. Children will enjoy the Kid Zone with inflatables.
