Rockwall Breakfast Rotary to host pancake breakfast

ROCKWALL (February 25, 2014) The Rockwall Breakfast Rotary is dedicated to serving the community of Rockwall. Each year they provide coats for underprivileged kids, scholarships for high school students and encourage youth leadership in the Rotary Youth Leadership program. Grants are presented each year for local non-profit organizations that have included The Boys and Girls Club, Helping Hands, Rockwall Pregnancy Resource Center, Meals on Wheels and others. The Breakfast Rotary has also been associated with the RISD Teacher of the Year awards each year.

Service Above Self is their motto and they are dedicated to seeking ways to continue that commitment in this community.

Pancake Breakfast March 15

One way that commitment is realized is with the upcoming pancake breakfast at Applebee’s in Rockwall. On Saturday, March 15 the Breakfast Rotary will cook and serve for you and yours from 8:00 am to 10:00 am. It will be a great morning of food and fellowship as these guys and gals turn out great pancakes and sausage with friendly smiles and gratitude for your support.

You can partner with this club in their mission of service to Rockwall by dropping by that day with family and friends and enjoying the meal. Tickets are $8 and the proceeds go to Breakfast Rotary’s ongoing effort of service to the people of Rockwall.

For more information on the pancake breakfast contact Trenton Cornehl at 972-771-8424 or by email at .

Please visit their website at rockwallbreakfastrotary.com and drop in to a Tuesday meeting at 7 am to get a closer look at who they are and what they are about. The Rotary Hall is located at 408 South Goliad St.
