MESQUITE, TX (March 11, 2014) Just Between Friends is the nation’s largest group of consignment sales and has hundreds of participating consignors and shoppers throughout Dallas/Ft. Worth. Just Between Friends (JBF) specializes in everything from strollers, baby furniture, clothes, toys, and more.
JBF Dallas has two major sales each year: one in the spring and one in the fall. Co-owners Susan Newhouse and Stacey Losher have a large following of consignors and shoppers in many cities surrounding the Dallas/Mesquite area. Just Between Friends, a Dallas consignor of children and maternity items, will host their Spring Sale March 20th – 23rd at the Mesquite Rodeo grounds.
Most gently worn items at the sales are estimated to sell at 30-90% off their retail price, and moms consigning their items typically get 60-70% of the sale price, higher than many other consignment stores.
“It’s a great way to clean out closets, make some extra money and get new items for your kids” said Rockwall mom, Mindi Long. “I participate each year as a volunteer and a consignor and it works great for our family.”
All items and equipment that are sold at the Just Between Friends sales are thoroughly inspected by expert volunteers for holes, tears, stains, and factory recalls. JBF also rewards moms that consign, volunteers, teachers, and first-time moms with early shopping days.
It’s a great way to pass on well taken care of items to other moms. Kids grow so fast; you can barely keep up with their growth in clothes or their interests in toys before you need new things. The biggest items at the sale, such as strollers, car seats and cribs, are the ones that sell the quickest, but hundreds of moms shop through the weekend.
“We are still very excited to be doing these sales after 10 years in Dallas,” said Newhouse. “We love helping moms pass on these things that other moms need for their children. It’s a great way to make it more cost-effective for everyone and share a little wisdom from mom to mom.”
The Spring 2014 sale begins Thursday March 20, 2014 and runs through Sunday March 23, 2014 at the Mesquite Convention & Expo Center located at 1700 Rodeo Dr. Mesquite, TX 75149.
Thursday, March 20th : • 10am-6pm: $3 admission fee
Friday, March 21st : •10am-6pm: Free Admission
Saturday, March 22nd : •10am-6pm: Free Admission
Sunday, March 23rd : •noon-6pm: Half Price Sale – Free Admission
