Introducing Scooter, Friends of Rowlett Animals Adoption Spotlight

ROWLETT, TX (March 17, 2014) Scooter is an energetic Pit mix with a quiet demeanor.  He came in with another dog who was a quiet, stoic dog and they got along well, as she was the submissive one.  Scooter loves treats but doesn’t really enjoy baths or grooming, so he will need to be shown that bath time can be fun.

Scooter also loves chest rubs and knows how to sit.  Scooter will need to be taught how to walk well on the leash as he pulls on the leash, but out of the shelter with some play time may help drain his energy.

Scooter has behaved well in the offsite adoptions when on a leash and introduced to children, and his previous owner said he did well with his daughter. Bring your family up to the shelter to meet Scooter and you will see that he will love everyone and fit right in!
