ROCKWALL (April 7, 2014; originally published on February 2, 2014) Chad Higbee is seeking a position on the Rockwall ISD Board of Trustees in place 7.
Higbee is seeking a place on the Board because as a husband of a district employee and the father of five children in the district, he is highly invested in the continued success of RISD.
“When we moved to the Dallas area years ago, we had several great choices of where to live, but we moved to Rockwall because we were attracted to the rich history of conservative, traditional family values that are evident here and I want to help keep that legacy alive,” Higbee said.
Chad received his BA in Journalism from the University of Oklahoma. He has enjoyed a successful and extensive career in healthcare. He currently serves as Administrator for Dallas-based Hospice Select.
The 2014 Rockwall ISD Board of Trustees election will be held on Saturday, May 10. Rockwall ISD has just one opposed race for its school board. Incumbent Stephanie Adams faces three opponents for the Place 7 seat, including Higbee, Leslie Milder and David Schwartz. In place 6, Leigh Plagens runs unopposed.
