MidSouth Bank hires Kevin Fowler as City President for Rockwall, Greenville

ROCKWALL, TX (April 27, 2014) MidSouth Bank has hired Kevin Fowler as City President for its Rockwall and Greenville, Texas, markets. He is leading the bank’s growth in the two markets, overseeing all aspect of their local operations.

Fowler, who has 27 years of banking experience, most recently was Senior Vice President/Commercial Loan Officer at City Bank Texas. Before that he worked for Spirit of Texas Bank and Rockwall Bancshares (which was merged into Spirit of Texas Bank in March 2012).

Fowler began his career in the banking field in 1987 as an Associate National Bank Examiner with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency in Austin.

In 2005 Fowler graduated Valedictorian from Southern Methodist University’s Graduate School of Banking, and in 1987 earned a bachelor of science degree in business administration with emphasis in finance from LSU.

Active in the local community, he is past chairman and past Director of the Year for the Rockwall Chamber of Commerce, past president of the Rockwall Rotary Club and was chairman of the Rockwall Economic Development Corporation last year.
