Sophomore Attacker Alex Rodriguez was named to the 1st team All-region team. Junior Evan Scown was named to the 2nd team All-region team. And, Sophomore Mitchell Eldridge was named to the 3rd team All-region team.

“This is the first year that water polo has been an official high school sport at Rockwall ISD. So, to be sending a team to State right out of the gate is an amazing achievement for these girls! And, the boys were 1-point away from advancing to State as well. Both our boys and girls teams are very young, many are playing the sport for the first time. And, almost all will be returning next year. So, we can expect great things from these athletes in the next few years,” said Coach Paul Wallace.

The Lady Jackets will face Jersey Village High School in the opening round of the State championships on Friday, May 2nd at the Lee and Joe Jamail Texas Swimming center on the University of Texas campus in Austin.
