May 14, 2014 – Lake Pointe Health Network (LPHN) staff members and executives recently presented donations of more than $1,600 to both Rockwall County Helping Hands and The Bridge Breast Network.  The funds were raised at last year’s “In the Pink” Luncheon, which is held annually in October for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Rockwall County Helping Hands provides medical care to community members in financial crisis and The Bridge Breast Network offers breast screenings and care to women who also need financial assistance. The two charities received 100 percent of the proceeds from last year’s luncheon at the Hilton Dallas Rockwall Lakefront.

Donations will be used for community outreach, education and enhanced coverage for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer in the communities served by LPHN.
