ROCKWALL, TX. (June 30, 2014) On June 20th, the Rockwall Area Chamber of Commerce hosted its 3rd Annual Rockwall Open “Caddyshack” Golf Tournament. Thirty-six teams competed in the event, which was held at Buffalo Creek Golf Club. The tournament is a tradition among Rockwall’s finest business-minded golfers.
The festivities began with a pre-tournament Par-Tee on June 19th; over 150 guests filled the patio at Culpepper’s for music, barbecue and an auction benefiting the Rockwall Chamber. The guests enjoyed a live performance by the Clay Potter Band and Gary Freedman served as auctioneer.
It was a beautiful sunny day on the golf course and the teams had a wonderful time at this year’s Caddyshack Golf Tournament.
The Rockwall Chamber proudly recognizes this year’s winning teams:

Team Vice & Henley- second place
Southern Junction- third place
All-women’s Chamber team- last place
Jeff Holman from the Nichols Wealth Management team- The Longest Drive winner
Aaron Benzine from the Southern Junction team- Closest to the Pin
“The annual golf tournament has become a fun and most popular event for us,” President Dana K. Macalik said, “thank you to the generosity of the many Chamber partners and volunteers who made this possible.” Proceeds support the efforts of the Rockwall Area Chamber of Commerce in their mission to advocate for businesses and economic growth for the area.
