ROCKWALL,TX. (July 1, 2014) Last Sunday Rockwall residents celebrated Independence Day a bit early at the Harbor’s fourth annual FreedomFest.

A live band and several DJs set the mood with music while guests could roam dozens of vendor booths, splash in the sprinklers, or pick out perfect seats for the fireworks. The U.S. Army displayed patriotic cars, and the Rubber Duck Regatta’s giant inflatable duck towered over the event. Children could have their faces painted, learn karate moves from local instructors, or hop on a miniature choo choo train for a ride.

Several hundred guests attended, and as the sun set everyone gathered by the lake for a spectacular firework show set to patriotic music.
