RICHARDSON,TX. (July 21, 2014) Wednesday, July 16, Inspire Financial Group volunteered with the Community Partners of Dallas to help fill backpacks with school supplies for their Back to School Drive. In the previous year, Inspire Financial Group donated the supplies, but this year they decided to donate their time.
Inspire Financial Group employee, Don Hults, said “It felt good to reach out and help others.”
In their back to school effort, Community Partners of Dallas provides backpacks filled with age appropriate school supplies and uniforms to more than 2,100 abused and neglected Dallas County children.
In addition to volunteering, Inspire Financial Group also received a tour of the Community Partners of Dallas facility, which includes a Rainbow Room that holds emergency items for children in care of CPS. The facility also contains a 6,000 sq. foot air-conditioned warehouse where all donations are cataloged and stored.
Inspire Financial also learned about a unique program called “StoryLine”. StoryLine is a phone line that children can call 24 hours a day to hear a story.
Community Partners of Dallas created this program because “children love hearing stories, but not every child has someone to read to them, so this program utilizes adult volunteers to have stories read and recorded on a phone line that anyone in the public can call to enjoy the very important learning experience of being read to aloud and reading in general,” the Community Partners of Dallas website says.
Inspire Financial Group employee, Elizabeth Williams, recognizes that Community Partners of Dallas “provides a valuable service to children in need.”
Inspire Financial Group is happy to join the Community Partners of Dallas in their efforts. Given that Inspire Financial Groups’ “niche market is educators”, the cause is “very close to their hearts”.
Inspire Financial Group, Inc. is located at 3513 Spectrum Blvd., Suite 200, Richardson, TX 75082.
