ROCKWALL/HEATH, TX (July 24, 2014) The 100 plus degree temperatures did not put a damper on the spirit of those gathered at First Christian Church on July 12th for their First Annual Benefit Community Picnic.
The picnic, held on the church grounds, was to raise money and school supplies for the Rockwall Helping Hands School Supply Fair on August 2. There was a bounce house, all sorts of lawn games, water guns and water balloons, musical entertainment, as well as lots of hot dogs and snow cones!
