ROCKWALL,TX. (August 5, 2014) The JER Chilton YMCA at Rockwall will host a free, Father/Child Camp-In Saturday, August 16 through Sunday, August 17. The Camp-In is available to all dads and kids from kindergarten through fourth grade at no charge.
Girls and boys will enjoy special bonding time with their dads during the Camp-In inside the JER Chilton YMCA. Campers do not need to be members of the YMCA to participate.
Check-in is at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, August 16. The adventure begins with swimming in the Y’s newly renovated indoor pool, followed by outdoor activities including BB guns at the YMCA range, and an Egg Toss and Dragon Tail Tag at the YMCA soccer fields. Hot dogs will be provided at mealtime. A campfire and story time rounds out the evening, followed by donuts and Chapel in the morning. Festivities will conclude at 9 a.m. Sunday, August 17.
Campers should bring bathing suits, sleeping bags and sleepwear. Food, fun and memory-making will be provided at no charge!
The JER Chilton YMCA is located at 1210N. Goliadin Rockwall. The YMCA’s mission is to put Christian values into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all. Financial assistance is available for all of the YMCA’s programs.
