Pre-marital education class Saturday open to all couples

Class participants eligible for free marriage license

ROCKWALL, TX (August 20, 2014)  This Saturday, August 23, couples are invited to participate in a “Twogether in Texas” pre-marital education class hosted by Erin Kincaid.

The program will run from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Nineteen at Rockwall Golf & Athletic Club. A second class will be offered Saturday, September 13.

Participating couples will be able to receive their marriage license for free at any county clerk’s office in Texas (not including local taxes).

The class covers conflict management, communication styles, anger issues, money personality and spending habits, blending families, dealing with issues like stress, in-laws and intimacy and much, much more.

The cost for a marriage license is $60 in most counties. For the same price, this pre-marital education class includes lunch for the couple, all workshop materials and resources – plus the workshop itself!

Studies show that couples who attend pre-marital education are 80% more likely to stay together for the duration of their lives in healthy, happy, loving marriages. This is a community based class and so all couples are welcome. To show their support of healthy marriages and to couples who choose to take the time to support their spouses, Providence Place Bridal Shop in Rockwall gives a 10% discount once a couple complete the course.

Registration is at available at erinkincaid.com under the classes page.

Twogether in Texas is a state program that supports the law in place that if couples DO NOT get an approved pre-marital education class before their wedding date then their marriage certificate will not be free. Couples who take the class do!
