Parents and children ages 12 months to 5 can join in a day of musical fun at the Rockwall School of Music
ROCKWALL, TX. (August 5, 2014) To celebrate the start of its new Kindermusik program, Kindermusik by Joyful Melodies will host two free demo classes on August 27th and 28th at 10:00 AM at Rockwall School of Music,749 Justin Rd., Rockwall.
The free demo classes are open to parents and their children ages 12 months to age 7.
Kindermusik is a music and movement program for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers that is both fun as well as educational.
During the free demo class, attendees can expect to participate in the kinds of activities that are part of every Kindermusik lesson, such as: singing, moving, playing simple instruments, doing focused listening activities, and group dances. Danielle Yonchak, owner of Kindermusik by Joyful Melodies, will share information about how the activities are important to a child’s cognitive, physical, social, and language development.
Participants will be able to see for themselves how the style of a Kindermusik class helps build and strengthen the parent/child bond and can also lead to the development of new and meaningful relationships with others.
“I look forward to offering the Rockwall community an experience that is both fun and beneficial for children and parents in so many ways,” said Yonchak. “Opening a new Kindermusik program is the perfect way to help our youngest community members experience all the benefits that music has to offer.”
