Fall classes begin September 2nd
ROCKWALL,TX. (July 22, 2014) The Reading for Adults (RFA) Literacy Program in Rockwall will be sporting a new look this year– Steve Wilde, owner of Wilde Advertising, designed and printed custom t-shirts for the RFA tutors. The local businessman has donated 144 custom t-shirts to the RFA Literacy Program Coordinator Carol Cease, GED Tutor Dorothy Hunger, and ESL Tutor Jamie Rubush were also present.
Wilde Advertising, Inc. located in Fate is a nationally-recognized full service advertising company. For over 21 years, Wilde Advertising has provided custom logos, product branding and specialty advertising for national companies and organizations, such as the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh, Camp John Marc, Diageo, EJ Gallo, and many local independent companies.
A long-time patron and supporter of the Rockwall County Library, Wilde donated the t-shirts in recognition of the Literacy Program, saying “the RFA Volunteer Tutors are giving their time to help our local adults…..this is something Wilde Advertising can do to support the program”. The printed t-shirts will be given to the RFA volunteer tutors.
Serving Rockwall County for over fourteen years, RFA provides free adult educational services. Classes include English as a Second Language (ESL), GED studies and preparation, Citizenship preparation and Adult Literacy. With over 300 adult students and 75 local volunteer tutors, the program is headquartered in the Rockwall County Library, with several alternative locations for classes.
The fall classes begin September 2nd, 2014. Students are encouraged to register before August 25th, 2014. Classes are free of charge with discounted fees for books.
Adults interested in class schedules or testing for ESL, GED or Citizenship courses should visit the Literacy Center in the Rockwall County Library or call (972) 204-7705.
