Teen singer, musician from Rockwall to entertain at various venues this fall

ROCKWALL, TX (September 8, 2014) Thirteen-year-old Erin Kinsey of Rockwall has a full schedule this fall, but it’s not just because she competes on Cain Middle School’s tennis and volleyball teams, and plays percussion in the band. Erin is a country music singer/songwriter with local gigs lined up now through October.

Erin developed a passion for music when she first picked up the guitar and learned to play at age 11. Her vocal range and power are complimented by her rapid growth as a skilled musician. She plays the 6-string acoustic guitar, 12-string guitar, electric guitar, piano and is learning the banjo.

Erin has been influenced by country female artists such as Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood and Taylor Swift. She has had the privilege to write with some of Nashville’s finest songwriters, such as Jamie O’Neal and Clay Mills.

Erin’s favorite places to perform include the Arlington (Texas) Music Hall, Grapevine Opry, Hard Rock Café, House of Blues, and Nashville’s world famous Bluebird Café.

Her upcoming performances include:

September 12, 8:00pm-The Opening Bell
