Springer Elementary teachers accept Ice Bucket Challenge

ROCKWALL, TX (September 2, 2014) Rockwall Springer Elementary 5th grade teachers recently accepted the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, agreeing to have buckets of ice dumped over their heads to raise awareness for Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, often referred to as Lou Gehrig’s Disease.

The challenge took place after the school’s pep rally supporting Springer’s motto, “Expect Our Best.”

Pictured are teachers Susie Kinney, Rebekah Hawkins, Melissa Tyner, Christina Lee, and David Liechty; and students, Evan Raines, Cooper Tyner, Eli Deen, Haley Petton, and Ava Owens.
