Two Rockwall swimmers named ‘All American’

ROCKWALL,TX. (September 8, 2014) The National Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association (NISCA) has named Rockwall High School’s William Rapp and Raena Eldridge ‘All Americans’ in swimming in the annual All American list.

Rapp earned All American in the 200 Yard Freestyle where he placed 4th at the UIL State 5A Swimming Championships. Eldridge earned her All Americans in the 100 Yard Butterfly and 50 Yard Freestyle where she placed 3rd and 2nd respectively at the UIL 5A State Swimming Championships.

Both RHS swimmers are seniors for the 2014-2015 school year. The RHS swim team will kickoff the season on Thursday, September 18th vs McKinney ISD swim teams inMcKinney.

“William and Raena were the standouts of our 2013-2014 season and were very deserving of the honor of All American. We look forward to both swimmers and the remainder of our RHS swim team to accomplish even greater things this year,” said Coach Paul Wallace.
