ROWLETT, TX (October 20, 2014) The Second Annual Carols on Main Christmas Celebration will be 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, December 20 at the Main Events Center, 4111 Main Street in Rowlett.
Carols on Main is a traditional Christmas Celebration featuring an array of local choirs, musicians, and Pastors. The event is designed for families, and those going through tough times and in need for a little holiday cheer.
Local music acts committed include: Rowlett First United Methodist Church Choir, Lake Cities Chorale, The Lakeshore Symphonic, Kynsie Zakem, Doug Schmidt, and opera singer Elise Stover. Several Pastors are committed including Shane Pruitt(C3), Dretha Burris and Jan Davis (Rowlett First United Methodist), and Kurt Horting (Stillwater Community Church.)
There is no cost to the event and everyone in Rowlett is welcome. FireWheel Brewing Company will be providing free root beer. The event sponsors are Carl Pankratz and Raymond James Financial.
