ROCKWALL COUNTY, TX (October 29, 2014) The Honorable Judge Mark Russo, Justice of the Peace, Precinct Three of Rockwall County was recently inducted as a “Distinguished Member” into Texas Justice Court Judges Association (JCJA) College of Justice Court Judges. The College encourages and recognizes judges who strive for advances education over and above the state mandated education requirements.
Judge Russo was one of only 19 justice court judges throughout the state to receive the “Distinguished Distinction” from the College. Judge Russo completed at least 30 hours accreditd education above his mandatory requirement.
A total of 54 judges in the state, who made application, completed the minimum requirements for the 2014 College.
Those judges who were inducted into the College of Justice Court Judges were congratulated and recognized for taking the initiative to acquire advanced study to enhance their judicial skills.
