ROCKWALL, TX (October 24, 2014) Just one day after the November 4, 2014 General Election, Rockwall Area Chamber of Commerce members and guests are invited to an exclusive Welcome Reception & Briefing with federal, state, county and city newly elected officials at the Hilton Dallas Rockwall Lakefront.
Hosted by the Rockwall Chamber and sponsored by Atmos Energy, the ‘HobNob’ is a select opportunity to shake hands, ask questions, and hear first-hand from each official their positions on various issues. Guests of Honor will include John Ratcliffe, Republican, Congressman-Elect 4th Congressional District; Bob Hall, Republican candidate for Senate District 2; David Sweet, Republican, Rockwall County Judge-Elect; and Rockwall Mayor-Elect Jim Pruitt, each of whom will assume their new positions in January 2015.
Tickets are selling fast for the HobNob Reception and Briefing, which will be from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 5 at the Hilton, 2055 Summer Lee Drive in Rockwall, 75032. Rockwall Chamber partners, their employees and guests may purchase tickets for $25 each, by registering online at http://business.rockwallchamber.org/events.
The event will include hors d’ oeuvres and a cash bar, along with exclusive opportunities to network. Tim Hartley, Chairman of the Rockwall County Republicans, will facilitate a Q&A session. Chamber members also have the chance to submit questions in advance for their newly elected officials.
