According to the judges, Maryjose’s artwork best depicted the parade theme “Hometown Christmas – Rockwall Texas Style,” and her artwork is being incorporated into the parade posters going up around Rockwall.

The parade will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 6. Due to ongoing road construction, this year’s parade will take a new route.  The parade route will begin at Utley Middle School, proceed north on Townsend Road, then west on Boydstun, north on Fannin, and then east on Rusk, ending near Dobbs Elementary.

This year’s parade includes a variety of entries including several horse units, the combined Rockwall and Rockwall Heath Marching Bands and Drill Teams and local business and civic organization floats.

Entries for floats are still being accepted. Additional parade information including the opportunity to submit an entry form may be found on the Kiwanis website at rockwallkiwanis.org or by calling 972-722-6001.
