Heath, Rockwall sign language students visit Texas School for the Deaf

ROCKWALL, HEATH (November 10, 2014) A group of American Sign Language students from Heath and Rockwall high schools traveled to Austin Nov. 1 to visit the Texas School for the Deaf.

Students were able to interact with other students that are deaf or have hearing impairments.  While there, students toured the campus and watched TSD’s students compete in volleyball and football games.  Students  enjoyed being emerged in deaf culture and communicating in the language that they have been learning in the classroom.
