ROCKWALL COUNTY,TX (December 1, 2014) The leadership of CSC Rockwall is hosting a series of classes for all area non-profits. The classes are designed to help social action and service agencies engage in sustainability and growth in tandem with the growth of Rockwall County. Classes are free (or low cost) and open to all leadership, staff and volunteers of local non-profits.
December’s class “Grants: Where to Find ‘Em, How to Get ‘Em” is being hosted by the Board of the Community Solutions Cooperative and held at a partner church – Cornerstone Rockwall. The class will educate non-profits on the basics of grant research and management and teach attendees how to apply and be awarded grant dollars. It will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 3 at the church (behind Baylor Emergency Center), 1950 Alpha Road in Rockwall.
CSCRockwall is committed to helping all non-profits and their teams grow in areas of fundraising, marketing, leadership, strategic planning, volunteer coordination and more. October’s Board of Directors class was taught byMisti Potter, non-profit consultant and Executive Director at Boys and Girls Club Rockwall. In January there will be a Fundraising on a Shoes String Budget class.
(This class is part of the CSC 3rd Fridays Series but due to the holidays please note the alternate date of Dec. 3rd. Normal class dates will resume in 2015)
