Rockwall Chamber names Ambassador of the Month

ROCKWALL, TX (Dec. 4, 2014)  The Rockwall Area Chamber of Commerce recently recognized Katy Miller as its Ambassador of the Month. (And after winning a recent costume contest, Katy has also been dubbed the “Ninja Ambassador”!)

Katy, Marketing Associate for Lake Pointe Medical Center, plays an active role as an Ambassador of the Rockwall Chamber and serves as co-chair for the newly created Rockwall Young Professionals organization. She is currently participating in Leadership Rockwall 2015 and enjoys living and serving in the Rockwall area community.

As a part of the business development team at Lake Pointe Medical Center, Katy is responsible for engaging with local employers and determining the healthcare needs of their employee base.  Katy also serves as a liaison between area physicians and businesses to facilitate health events ranging from lunch and learns to large scale health events.  Katy is also tasked with reducing healthcare cost for area employers in regards to their workers compensation programs and providing resources to reduce work related injuries and lost time.
