Kevin Fowler to file for Rockwall City Council Place 3

ROCKWALL, TX (Jan. 9, 2015) Rockwall County resident Kevin Fowler will run for Place 3 on the Rockwall City Council in the upcoming May 9 election.  Bennie Daniels recently announced that he would not seek re-election for the Place 3 seat.

Fowler has a long history of service to Rockwall, holding key leadership positions on numerous boards and commissions.  He is presently a board member on the Rockwall Economic Development Corporation, the JER Chilton YMCA at Rockwall and Rockwall MusicFest.  He is a member of the Rockwall Rotary Club and the Rockwall Area Chamber of Commerce.  Previous board activity includes the Rockwall Business Education Council, Building Better Roads Bond Committee, Rockwall Youth Fair, Lone Star CASA and Boy Scout Troop 83.  He is a 2014 graduate of Leadership Rockwall.

Fowler is City President at MidSouth Bank and a long-time Rockwall County resident.  He is a graduate of Louisiana State University and the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University.
