MCLENDON-CHISHOLM, TX (Jan. 26, 2015) Deborah Sorensen, City Secretary for the City of McLendon Chisholm, recently completed certification as a Texas Registered Municipal Clerk.
Completion of this training requires many months of study and testing.
“Debbie worked, on her own time, to complete these courses which is a testament to her commitment to her profession and the City of McLendon-Chisholm. We are very proud of her,” said Mayor Gary Moody, who along with Mayor Pro Tem Steve Hatfield and City Administrator Dave Butler attended her graduation ceremony which occurred during the annual Municipal Clerks election law seminar in Frisco.
Sorensen has served the City of McLendon-Chisholm for nearly seven years as the City Secretary, Elections official and Municipal Court Clerk.
