Chocolate Indulgence dinner to help victims of domestic violence

ROCKWALL, TX (Feb. 4, 2015) Women in Need, a local nonprofit agency that provides lifesaving services to victims of domestic violence, will host a Chocolate Indulgence fundraising dinner and silent auction at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 6 at Allure Restaurant at Chandler’s Landing. The event celebrates Valentine’s Day and promotes healthy relationships, while helping to provide funds for emergency shelter, legal advocacy, counseling, support groups and crisis intervention to families in crisis.

With two locations in Greenville and Rockwall, WIN is able to conveniently and consistently provide much needed comprehensive services to our local community in need.

WIN works closely with our local District and County Attorney Offices and our local School Districts ensuring families have the services they need to live in a violent free environment. WIN’s preventative measure consists of educating individuals both in the community and in our District’s classrooms about the red flags found in abusive relationships, anti-bullying strategies and what resources are available within our community for those already affected by domestic violence.

WIN invites you to come out and be a part of this wonderful evening of FOOD, CHOCOLATE and DANCING to the live music of Class Act Entertainment! A full menu will be served along with an array of chocolate desserts. Local business leaders, community members and other organizations will be coming together for a wonderful evening promoting healthy relationships and raising much needed funds for Women In Need, Inc (WIN).
