Kevin Lamberth files for re-election to Heath City Council

HEATH, TX (Feb 5, 2015) Heath Councilman Kevin Lamberth filed for a second term on the Heath City Council. He currently occupies the Place 1 Council seat and was elected in 2013.  Previously, he served as chairman on the Board of Adjustments for the city.

“It has been an honor to work with the Mayor and my colleagues on the City Council for the past two years. Thanks to the leadership and guidance of the Mayor and Council, Heath is poised for strong economic growth during the next few years. I want to play a role in that and work towards strategic growth, and infrastructure improvements for our neighborhoods,” Lamberth said.

During his two years on City Council, Lamberth has worked with colleagues to approve a city wide capital improvement plan that includes upgrades to numerous roads, improvements to water and sewer lines, and trail connections between neighborhoods and schools. He also worked to approve city budgets that allows for quicker infrastructure repairs, and upgrades to fire and police communication systems.

“I would like to continue to be a voice for neighbors and make sure we are addressing their infrastructure and safety needs during the coming years,” Lamberth said.

“This is an exciting time for our city. I want to continue to work with the Mayor and my colleagues on City Council to build on the momentum we are experiencing. It is also important to work each year to craft a budget that meets our needs, but also provides efficient services to the taxpayers of Heath. I have a good record in this area and want to continue to support fiscal responsibility in a second term on City Council,” Lamberth added.

Kevin and wife, Tracee, have been married for 18 years and have two daughters and a son – Audrey (15) Morgan (13) and Hudson (10). The Lamberth’s are members of Lake Pointe Church, where Kevin serves in the children’s ministry.
